Diamond St. Abode: Living Room Tour
Happy Monday peeps!
I’m excited to be sharing a bit of my personal home with you today - my boyfriend & I recently moved into a new home and decided it was time to part ways with old furnishings that have been around for longer than you want to know. As much as I LOVE and personally always lean towards a neutral sofa, living with a fellow artist means some color was much needed after we whited out the entire place :) we landed on this RAD deep-teal, tufted sectional from Rove Concepts - their Luca Sectional - and guess what the fabric name is called? SOLSTICE! If that wasn’t a sign from the universe I don’t know what is. We highly debated getting that golden mustard velvet, but I felt this deep teal was almost muted - just like denim jeans in a sense. It’s a fun statement in the space and really spiced up my primarily neutral tendencies! Also pictured, the amazing Stripe Break Rug from the Sarah Sherman Samuel x Lulu & Georgia collaboration that I am OBSESSED with. Oh and meet my fur babies: Boss & Jefe. Boss is a pug/ Boston-terrior mix, was my first fur baby, and is now NINE! Jefe (meaning Boss in Spanish) was rescued from Mexico last year and just turned one in July. I could talk about them for 294857495 years but won’t do that to you - just know I’m a big dog person and could sit and just watch them exist forever. My favorite piece in the room - the hand-painted wave art piece above the sofa painted by my love for me/ my birthday this year - I’m one lucky lady. Lastly, amazing & extremely cozy woven wool throw pillow shown on the left side of the sofa is the Contigo Pillow in ‘sand’ from The Citizenry. This beaut is the perfect throw pillow for layering in and I honestly want to put it in every room of the house - it pairs well with so many pieces and is so versatile. Plus Jefe looks real cute next to it.
I hope you enjoyed this mini-home tour! I’ll be diving into other rooms, renovations, and updates we do to the house on the blog so stay tuned for some more sneak peeks into my sweet lil’ abode!
