Monday Sneak Peek: The Plot Restaurant
Hello & happy Monday!
As most of you may know I’ve had the pleasure of working on a very special, new plant-based restaurant for majority of this year - The Plot. Not only are the people behind this name amazing - Jessica & Davin Waite - but the concept and intention behind this restaurant is just as awesome.
Jessica and Davin Waite co-founded two OTHER amazing local restaurants Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub and The Whet Noodle (if you haven’t been, get your butt over there STAT and get ready to have your mind blown!) Jessica, CEO of The Plot, and board member of the Berry Good Food Foundation had some major dreams in opening this space - working with local farmers and sourcing responsibly, and creating a zero-waste ethos to name a few things - and it has been such a treat to learn from her, and help build this dream restaurant for a community we both care so much about. Davin, Executive Chef (and veggie wizard) will be bringing an extremely creative, fresh, and truly innovative spin on a plant-based cuisine…my mouth waters daily just seeing pictures of what he comes up with. Basically, we’re all in for a major treat.
Today we’re sharing some of our favorite elements and sources of inspiration for this space, and we can’t wait to share the final product with you. For now, here is a sneak peek into The Plot Restaurant’s first ever location opening in South Oceanside this January 2020.
